BERNARDS TWP. — The Liberty Corner Fire Company, an all-volunteer fire and rescue organization in the Liberty Corner section of Bernards Township, will host its biannual comedy night on Saturday evening, April 30, in the ballroom of the firehouse at 95 Church St.
This year’s line up is to be set shortly, but the trio of comics who play from New York to California, ABC to Comedy Central, star in films and theatre and are guaranteed to entertain.
Johnny Lampert is considered one of the premier comedians in the country. He is a regular at New York City’s and Los Angeles’ best comedy clubs including Carolines on Broadway, The Comic Strip and The Improv and has also made numerous television appearances Comedy Central and most recently on AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live! Johnny’s four wildly successful appearances at Montreal’s “Just for Laughs” Festival led to his being named “Best Act” by The Montreal Gazette as well as the signing of a sitcom deal with Walt Disney Television. In the casinos, Johnny has appeared at The Mirage, Foxwoods, Caesars Palace and The Claridge where he has worked with such stars as Dana Carvey, Michael Bolton, Chicago and Chris Rock. Johnny has also headlined the main room at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun and Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel & Casino.
Named one of CBS.com’s “Top 5 standout comics in NY,” Robyn Schall has been taking the comedy scene by storm. In addition to having her own monthly show at Caroline’s on Broadway, she also per- forms all over the country. Robyn has been seen on “Live at Gotham” on AXS TV, “Raising McCain” on Pivot TV, FOX’s “Bethenny Show” and was heard on Howard101 SiriusXM Radio. She was recently featured in the latest A$AP Rocky music video and has appeared on TLC and TruTV. Robyn was the first place winner this year in the Hoboken Comedy Festival and has been featured in the NY Comedy Festival. She has two popular web-series out titled “Not The Sharpest Crayon” and “Dumbbelles.” Robyn is also the cohost of the fitness podcast, “The BodCast” produced by Stand Up NY Labs.
Tim Gage is one New York’s busiest comedians. Along with being a regular at New York City’s best comedy clubs including Dangerfields, The Gotham Comedy Club, and The Comedy Cellar, Tim is a writer and regular contributer on Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update”. Tim has been seen on Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” and A&E’s “Comedy on the Road” along with numerous stints as an opening act for big name acts Kevin James and Ray Romano.
Doors and a wine and beer bar open at 7 p.m., and the show begins promptly at 8 p.m. Presale tickets are $40 per person or available at the door on show night for $50.
