Dear Neighbor:
Founded in 1910, the Liberty Corner Fire Company is a full-time volunteer organization consisting of 34
members. The Liberty Corner Fire Company is responsible for providing fire and rescue service 24 hours
a day, 365 days a year to the entire Liberty Corner section of Bernards Township - which encompasses
approximately 18 of the 24 square miles of Bernards Township and includes over 6,500 residences and
businesses.
In order for us to continue providing you and your family with the highest level of fire and rescue
protection, we must rely on your support. Your support of the fire company can come in two ways, either
through volunteering your time and talents as a firefighter, junior firefighter (ages 16 and 17) or auxiliary
member and/or through your support of our Annual Fund Drive. If you are in interested in information
regarding membership, we encouraged you to contact us at 908-647-3530.
For those unable to volunteer, we encourage you to support our Annual Fund Drive. As you may or may
not know, the Members of the fire company are responsible for raising the majority of the funding
necessary to satisfy our annual operating budget. The Members of the Fire Company work hard to raise
these funds throughout the year, but these fund raising efforts are simply not enough. It is through the
financial support of our fellow residents and local businesses that we are able to:
• provide the community with new and improved fire fighting and rescue equipment
• perform routine maintenance to the fire engines and rescue truck
• provide our volunteer firefighters with the latest training in fire fighting and rescue techniques.
Again, the Members of the Liberty Corner Fire Company ask you to consider joining our organization
and/or making a donation toward our Annual Fund Drive. Your time and talent as a member and/or your
tax-deductible donation helps ensure that during an emergency, we will be there for you.
